Novocherkassk Children House for Handicapped Children 

Novocherkassk Children House for Handicapped Children (NCH) is long-term Club Project since 2001.There are 80 inmates in NCH. Some of them are orphans. Some children have parents but they lives in NCH during school year because it is more suitable for them as for handicapped. All children in NCH have dysfunction of musculoskeletal system. Rostov Club pre-plans the work in the beginning of Rotarian Year and generally financing the projects from the club budget.

Some projects and actions that were spent in the frames of the work with NCH:

  1. Installation of internet equipment and setting of Internet Class (2004)
  2. Purchasing the go-carts (jointly with Orange County Rotary Club (USA)) (2004)
  3. Performances and shows for children (annually)
  4. Annually cleaning up and repairing works on territory of NCH summer camp on Don-river
  5. Angel’s Tree – Christmas action (jointly with Rotary Club of North Tulsa, USA) (2002)
  6. Purchasing and fitting child beds in bedroom for junior croup (2004)
  7. Annual auctions in favour of NCH
  8. Charity action «Land a Hand of Help” – together with Rotaract Club of Rostov-on-Don (2006)
  9. Annual New Year shows or concerts and gifting the presents to every child.
  10. Monthly payment for internet traffic.
  11. Building the playground for children on waste area of children house yard (jointly with Rotary Club San Leandro, USA) (2007)
  12. Installing the photo-laboratory in NCH (2007) (Jointly with District 2220)
  13. Purchasing wheelchairs for handicapped children (2008)
  14. Purchasing computer for NCH alumni (2008) – ith the help of Rotary Club of Izhevsk.
  15. Organization of on-line help for children through internet portal of Rostov Club. (2008)
