Rostov Club started to work with Novocherkassk Children House for handicapped children in 2001. First Rostov Club supported Orphanage with the books and writing materials, with the materials for children creation work. Rotarians used to sell children’s hand-made stuffs on auctions on Club parties and passed money to the children house. Club members and their spouses organize musical programs, shows and performances for children and their teachers, inviting actors and musicians. The first big project took place in 2003 when Rotarians set up Internet Class in the Children House. Children got a chance to study how to use computers and work with Internet and E-mail. Internet Traffic expenses are covered by Rotary Club every year. |

Some time back the Rotary Club «Rostov-on-Don» was asked by Igor Anisimov. Igor — disabled since childhood. He appealed to members of the club with a request to purchase for him with an electric wheelchair.

June 25 Rotary Club «Rostov- on- Don," a solemn event, «Change Wheels." By tradition, the club president is elected for a year and is headed by the Rotary Club from July 1 to July 1.
